Knee, hip, shoulder and foot pain

Knee pain can be caused by a sudden injury, an underlying condition, or an overuse injury. Arthritis is an example of an underlying condition which can cause knee pain. Treatments will vary depending on the cause. Knee pain symptoms include pain, stiffness, and swelling.

Hip pain is a very common problem that can be confusing because there are many causes. It is important to make an accurate diagnosis of the cause of the pain so that effective treatment can be used. If you have hip pain, some common causes include arthritis, tendonitis, lumbar pain, snapping hip syndrome, muscle strains, and hip or stress fractures.

Shoulder pain is also a very common complaint, and there are many causes. As with hip pain it is important to have an accurate diagnosis to determine an appropriate treatment. Some common causes of shoulder pain include bursitis, rotator cuff tear, frozen shoulder, labral tear, or arthritis.

Foot pain can be caused by trauma, disease, or a combination of the two. Trauma is the result of outside forces directly impacting the body or forcing the body into a position which damages the structure of the body. Poor biochemical alignment may lead to foot pain. It is best to visit a physician to determine the cause and appropriate treatment.
